By this point, Thin Ice had written a number of "funky tunes" and had no doubt begun to see these types of songs as the most characteristic of our own style. With this one, we had clearly decided to write yet another one. But what a funky tune it was. This was one that Elliott and Jon, in particular, really put everything into. Both the drumming and bass work are extremely tight and really shine. The song is yet another commentary on the state of the band at a given point. We weren't sure whether or not this style would lead to success but we had no doubt that we were going to get there because, no matter what the style, there truly was "nothing that (we'd) really rather do."
